A few of the testimonials I have Kindly received

"I have been on a journey with my AuDHD since 2021, but found that I hit a bit of a wall of, ‘ok I know the problem, but how do I FIX it’. Sarah was then recommended to me by a trusted therapist no longer practicing. I immediately felt comfortable and understood when speaking to Sarah, and for the first time, felt a bit of hope towards finding a way to understand, break down, and overcome my OCD and anxiety. Before speaking to Sarah, I had started to believe it was just something I had to live with.

Our sessions can follow either a structured or tangential approach, depending on what i need for the week, and Sarah is always flexible accommodating it either way.

Sarah is the first therapist I’ve spoken to, that will happily talk about her own experience overcoming mental health battles, and I find that extremely comforting knowing she’s been through the same things, and can not only relate to what I’m feeling, but also has managed to improve her quality of life through the same techniques we are now using in our sessions.

I’m looking forward to seeing where the rest of this journey and our sessions take me".

"I’m a firm advocate of there’s finding a good therapist and then there’s finding a good therapist for YOU. If you’ve had no success with therapy and want to give up, but haven’t tried it with a neurodivergent therapist- please don’t give up! I couldn’t quite figure out why therapy felt hard for me, until i started with Sarah and i realised; being neurodivergent myself communicating with a neurotypical therapist was like two people with different first languages trying to communicate in their second language.

Having a therapist with the same neurotype as you that you get a long with removes an unnecessary hurdle. You don’t have to feel guilty and explain your neurodivergent traits like usual because they get it! Sometimes therapy can feel very rigid, but because we both have similar neurotypes, we can work together in a way that works for both of us! Sarah is so accommodating in that way, we sometimes split the sessions up into different parts on days where I feel less focused, and we work on what I feel like on the day. There’s no need to keep to a “schedule”, we work through it at my pace and comfort level.

If you’re not sure if you’re neurodivergent, I really recommend from personal experience to explore this with a neurodivergent therapist, it’s so affirming and feels so safe and curious, in comparison to the very common experience of feeling like someone doesn’t believe you or an interrogation! She’s very knowledgeable on neurodivergence and is passionate about helping you understand yourself.

Sarah is trauma informed and really tunes in to your body language, I am forever grateful for her help in helping me to tune into my body and notice myself when I need to bring myself back into my body/ the present.

Equally… no words, just do it".

"Sarah has given me a sense of safety I haven't felt with any other therapist before. I know that she will listen with an open mind and that I will be heard and seen when I am talking to her. Being AUDHD can be lonely, but for an hour a week I get to unpack my world to someone that gets it".

"Sarah has helped me immensely. I am dealing with a bunch of issues all complex and none of them fun and she is able to still find me tools, still validate me when needed and help me learn to cope. Her doing this gives me more energy to tackle the fun things in life and live a little more. From the bottom of my heart. Genuinely, thank you."

"Therapy sessions with Sarah have been extremely helpful, even life changing. I struggled with my recent autism diagnosis and she made everything so much clearer. She never judges me, no matter how unreasonable I think my thoughts are, and I always feel very comfortable with her".

-M

"From the first call I had with Sarah she made me to feel like I could say whatever I needed to and really be the bare bones of the truth. When I received both my diagnosis and found out I was not only ADHD but AuDHD she has helped me and has continued to help me understand what that means for how I live my life and how I can help myself to be the best version of myself that I can be. I feel like every session it’s as if I come to her with an insanely tangled pair of headphones which I think are done for and unusable and she doesn’t untangle them completely for me but she starts to and then shows me how I can untangle them myself too".

-I

"Working with Sarah has been life changing. She’s helped me develop a much deeper understanding of my true self and has given me the confidence to prioritise my neurodivergence in everyday life. I really value Sarah’s honesty and openness; she creates a space where I feel safe and seen in every session. One thing I really value is how she visibly stims during our calls; it’s such a powerful, affirming reminder that I’m in a space where neurodivergent expression is not just accepted, but celebrated"!
